But bottled it &...I wanted a natural birth too! But bottled it & asked for an epidural: arrived at hosp too late, had to do without. The pain of my labour (and resulting injuries) made it difficult for me to bond with my son, opposite to what Dr Walsh thinks. If my birth had been less of a pain-fest, perhaps I'd found it easier to "forgive" the little bundle that put me through it!
